The Z-Slider™ is a simple safe patient handling system that helps prevent disabling back injuries as a result from lifting, transferring and repositioning patients. It supports proper patient handling and ergonomic techniques and decreases physical strain to the back, shoulders, neck and arms.
The Z-Slider™ also increases patient safety while minimizing the potential for patient discomfort, skin tears, abrasions and bruising. It was designed for single-patient use, thus eliminating the potential for cross contamination.
In addition to lowering costs associated with back injuries (i.e. workers’ compensation, administrative and nurse staffing), the Z-Slider™ complies with current OSHA recommendations and “No Lift” Laws.
