Volk Optical is the premier designer and manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses for retinal and anterior chamber examinations. The first indirect ophthalmoscopy lens was developed by David Volk MD 50 years ago. This led to the patented double aspheric designs still in use today, the leading standards in the ophthalmic industry.

More recently we have been working to address unmet imaging needs with a new, truly portable ophthalmic imager that takes digital imagery of the retina and also the external structures of the eye.
