TomoWave Laboratories (TWL) is developing proprietary medical devices based on optoacoustic and laser ultrasonic imaging, sensing and monitoring. TWL provides significant benefit to its investors through development of new products and applications financially sponsored by the US Government grants. Founded in April 2010, TWL has already developed its first commercial product, Laser Optoacoustic Imaging System for preclinical research in laboratory animals. While the first preclinical systems are already on order, TWL is focused on its clinical prototype of the 3D Laser Optoacoustic Ultrasonic Imaging System Assembly for screening, diagnostic imaging and monitoring therapeutic interventions of breast cancer. In the pipeline of future technologies is a universal system capable of providing diagnostic imaging, guiding biopsy and surgery and monitoring of thermal therapy guided by 3D temperature maps of the tissue. The total potential world-wide market of TWL systems exceeds $10 Billion.
